Die cutting out of the box: ornate die-cut

Hi,
Another way today to use your dies in a way you might not have thought about and create yourself a nice necklace (or ornament).
Linda will show you how...

Waste Not ...Want Not!

Did you know that the waste from the frames in the Tim Holtz Tag die is a perfect fit for the centre of his Ornate Plates?
Firstly grab a scrap of Grungepaper and cover one side with Tissue Tape and the olther side with a scrap of Humungo Tape and some TSS metal.

Next ... die cut the frame. The frame needs no explanation ... you now have one already for whatever project you fancy!

Apply Matte Medium around the edge of your plate and attach to the centre. Set aside to dry while you dig through your stash for some embellishments.

And Voila ... you have yourself a new necklace! All you need to do now is sit back and enjoy the compliments!

Tip of the day
Apply more than one jump ring to attach the chain ... it will ensure your new necklace stays exactly where you want it!

Ornate Plate

See you tomorrow
